Adele odniosła jeszcze jeden sukces w USA i pobiła kolejny rekord. Tym razem chodzi o liczbę tygodni w zestawieniu Billboard 200.

Wydana w 2011 roku płyta “21” Adele od 319 tygodni nie zeszła z zestawienia. To najlepszy wynik dla jakiekolwiek artysty.

Wcześniej rekord należał do Carole King. Jej album “Tapestry” po 318 tygodniach spadł z listy.

Z wydawnictwa “21” pochodzą przeboje “Rolling in the Deep”, “Someone like You” czy “Rumour Has It”.

Adele ma na koncie trzy długogrające krążki “19” (2008), “21” (2011) i “25” (2015).

Jej płyty rozeszły się na świecie w nakładzie przekraczającym 100 milionów egzemplarzy. Ostatni longplay Angielki osiągnął w Stanach Zjednoczonych diamentowy status. Oznacza to, iż krążek “25” kupiło 10 milionów Amerykanów.

Za przebój “Skyfall” do tak samo zatytułowanego filmu o przygodach Jamesa Bonda wokalistka otrzymała Oscara, Złoty Glob i Grammy.
