Katy Perry zgłębia Oblivię, futurystyczny park rozrywki, w oficjalnym teledysku do jej najnowszego singla “Chained to the Rhythm”.

Nakręcony w ciągu trzech styczniowych dni na terenie parku Six Flags Magic Mountain w kalifornijskiej Valencii – “Chained to the Rhythm” wyreżyserował laureat GRAMMY Matthew Cullen (Jay-Z, Beck), który współpracował wcześniej z artystką przy teledyskach do “Dark Horse” i “California Gurls.”

Producentami są Danny Lockwood, Rob Newman, Ben Leiser i Javier Jimenez.

Odtworzenia “Chained to the Rhythm” w serwisie Spotify przekroczyły 3 miliony w dniu premiery – ustanawiając nowy rekord odsłuchań w kategorii żeńskich solowych artystek w ciągu 24 godzin od premiery. Za to w ciągu pierwszego tygodnia utwór przekroczył granicę 20 milionów odsłuchań. To pierwszy singiel z nadchodzącego albumu Katy.

Billboard skomentował utwór: “Katy Perry podkreśla swoją świadomość – I to działa… jedna z największych gwiazd muzyki znowu dominuje.”
