Nostalgiczna podróż De La Soul i Estelle (zobacz teledysk “Memory of…”)

Zespół De La Soul zaprezentował nowy teledysk.

Wideo powstało do nagrania “Memory of … (US)”, w którym śpiewa Estelle.

Artystka pojawia się też w klipie i wciela się w kobietę, która tuż przed ślubem wspomina swoją przeszłość. Pete Rock, który także udziela się odpowiada za wprowadzenie do filmiku.

“Memory of … (US)” promuje album “and the Anonymous Nobody….”, który hiphopowa formacja wydała w sierpniu 2016 roku. Wśród gości na krążku znaleźli się ponadto David Byrne, Damon Albarn, Little Dragon, Snoop Dogg, Usher, 2 Chainz i Jill Scott.

De La Soul to wpływowa nowojorska hiphopowa formacja. W swej muzyce chętnie sięgają po jazz, R&B i alternatywę.

Za współpracę z Gorillaz przy “Feel Good Inc.” zdobyli Grammy. Na koncie mają takie przeboje jak “Me Myself and I”, “Ring Ring Ring (Ha Ha Hey)” czy “Breakadawn”.
