David Readman, były wokalista Pink Cream 69, dołączył do składu brytyjskiej legendy NWOBHM, zespołu Tank. Zastąpił on dotychczasowego frontmana ZP Thearta, który na stałe zasilił szeregi zespołu Skid Row.
Zespół Tank ma nowego wokalistę! – Cieszymy się wraz z ZP, mamy nadzieję, że wszystko pójdzie zgodnie z jego oczekiwaniami – komentuje gitarzysta, Cliff Evans.
– On zawsze był wielkim fanem Skid Row, to musi być więc dla niego fantastyczna sprawa, że może stać z zespołem na jednej scenie i śpiewać utwory, na których się wychował. Będziemy tęsknić za koncertowaniem i nagrywaniem z nim, ale życzymy mu wszystkiego najlepszego.
– To wspaniałe uczucie moc tworzyć muzykę z zespołem o takiej wspaniałej historii – mówi nowy frontman.
– Minęło już ponad 20 lat od czasu, kiedy ostatnio grałem w brytyjskiej kapeli, to dla mnie swego rodzaju powrót do korzeni. Mick także mieszka w Holandii, mamy ze sobą wiele wspólnego, nie mogłem przegapić takiej okazji.

W ostatnich latach na czele Tank wystąpiło wielu znakomitych wokalistów, wśród nich m.in. były wokalista Rainbow, z którym zespół nagrał albumy “War Machine” i “War Nation”, a także były frontman Dragonforce, aktualnie Skid Row – ZP Theart, którego można usłyszeć na najlepiej sprzedającym się krążku Tank, “Valley of Tears”.
Wraz z Davidem Readmanem zespół może kolejny raz ruszyć na niezbadane wcześniej muzyczne terytoria i wynieść klasycznego rocka na zupełnie nowy poziom.
