Grupa The Verve zapowiedziała premierę jubileuszowej edycji albumu “Urban Hymns”. Kultowe wydawnictwo obchodzi w tym roku 20 lat.
The Verve: Jubileuszowe wydanie “Urban Hymns” ukaże się w czterech różnych formatach: jako standardowa zremasterowana płyta CD, dwupłytowa wersja deluxe, wersja super deluxe składającej się z 5 płyt CD i bonusowego DVD oraz jako potrójny winyl.
Na wydawnictwie znajdą się niepublikowane wcześniej materiały, w tym zapis koncertu z 1998 roku, który grupa The Verve zagrała w swoim rodzinnym mieście przed liczącą 35 tysięcy fanów publicznością w Haigh Hall, Wigan.
Wersja deluxe zawiera również nowe wywiady przeprowadzone z wszystkimi członkami zespołu.
Na DVD znajdzie się natomiast dokument “The Video 96-98”, który wcześniej dostępny był wyłącznie na nośniku VHS.
Za miks i master wydawnictwa odpowiedzialny jest Chris Potter, współproducent “Urban Hymns” oraz Tony Cousins.
Dorobek The Verve zamyka krążek “Forth” z sierpnia 2008 roku nagrany po reaktywacji w 2007 roku.
