Bryan Singer nakręci film biograficzny o zespole Queen

Na stronie Queen pojawiła się garść oficjalnych informacji o kinowej biografii zespołu. Prace nad obrazem rozpoczną się niebawem.

Dzieło nosi tytuł “Bohemian Rhapsody”. Za kamerą obrazu stanie specjalista od X-Menów, Bryan Singer (“Podejrzani”). Rami Malek (“Mr. Robot”) zagra Freddiego Mercury’ego.

– Rami ma świetną prezencję i jest bardzo zaangażowany w projekt – mówią muzycy Queen. – Już stał się Freddiem, co jest wspaniałe.

Gitarzysta Brian May i perkusista Queen, Roger Taylor, pracują jako producenci muzyczni. Na razie nie ujawniono, kto sportretuje pozostałych członków kwartetu.

Wiadomo, że twórcy będą chcieli na potrzeby produkcji odtworzyć pamiętny występ Queen na Live Aid. Preprodukcja rozpocznie się w przyszłym tygodniu w Wielkiej Brytanii. Zasadnicze zdjęcia zaplanowano na połowę września w Londynie.
