Nowy teledysk Kelela nagrała do singla “LMK”. Kolorowy filmik, w którym twórcy chętnie bawili się światłem przedstawia wokalistkę w różnych stylizacjach.

Pierwsza płyta Amerykanki otrzymała tytuł “Take Me Apart”, a ukaże się 6 października nakładem Warp Records.
– Jestem czarną kobietą, drugim pokoleniem etiopskich Amerykanów – mówi Kelela.
– Dorastałam na przedmieściach, słuchając R&B, jazz i Björk. To wszystko ma swoje odzwierciedlenie w muzyce, w ten czy inny sposób.
