Raper AJ Tracey wypowiedział się na temat tragicznego pożaru, który wybuchł w wieżowcu Grenfell Tower w Londynie. Artysta mieszka tuż obok.
– Gdybyście wyjrzeli z mojego okna, zobaczylibyście ten blok – opowiada AJ Tracey. – Mieszkam tuż obok. Wielu ludzi, których znałem stamtąd, dziś spoczywa w pokoju.
Raper stwierdził również, że wsparcie rządu w tych dramatycznych okolicznościach było minimalne. Dodał także, że gdyby do wypadku doszło w innej dzielnicy, do pomocy wysłana by była zapewne cała armia.
AJ Tracey zachęca do organizowania pokojowych protestów, zaznaczając, że zamieszki pogorszą tylko wizerunek tej części miasta w oczach rządu.
Szacuje się, że w pożarze, który wybuchł w wieżowcu Grenfell Tower w zachodniej części Londynu zginęło co najmniej 79 osób.

AJ Tracey jest obecnie jednym z najciekawszych przedstawicieli muzyki grime.
