Tove Lo prezentuje prowokacyjny singiel!

W związku z nadchodzącą premierą swojego długo wyczekiwanego, drugiego albumu Lady Wood, nominowana do nagród Grammy, multiplatynowa artystka Tove Lo prezentuje kolejny, prowokacyjny singiel „True Disaster”.

Na pierwszy rzut oka wydaje się, że to po prostu miłosna piosenka o destrukcyjnym związku, jednak Tove Lo ujawnia prawdziwy temat utworu.

„Wydaje mi się, że każdy psychiatra u którego byłam stwierdził, że mam dwie osobowości: jedną autodestrukcyjną i drugą bardzo ambitną i zmotywowaną do ukończenia zaplanowanych działań. To pewnie dzięki temu jestem w takim miejscu w życiu” – wyznaje artystka.

„Piosenka ma trochę nonszalancki klimat. Kiedy zakochujesz się w kimś, o kim wiesz, że nie przyniesie Ci nic dobrego, albo gdy po prostu zachowujesz się w destrukcyjny sposób to nie obchodzi Cię tak naprawdę co się stanie.

„True Disaster” ma bardzo mocny bit, który motywuje i sprawia, że chcesz tańczyć, ale gdy wsłuchasz się w tekst, myślisz „co ona do cholery próbuje przekazać?”. Jest coś ekscytującego i wyzwalającego w nieprzejmowaniu się tym, co może się zdarzyć.”

Na początku tygodnia Tove Lo przekroczyła granicę miliarda odtworzeń w serwisie Spotify, z czego ponad 100 milionów streamów to singiel „cool girl”.
