Zespół Green Day opublikował nowy teledysk. Pełen emocji klip “Still Breathing” stanowi dopełnienie tekstu piosenki.
Fabularyzowane wideo zawiera kilka wątków. Widzimy wokalistę Billiego Joe Armstronga szwendającego się po mieście, kobietę w lesie, mężczyznę na wzgórzu, dziecko biegające po ulicach, a także mężczyznę z bronią czy starszą kobietę.
– To dość ciężki utwór – wyjaśniał wcześniej frontman. – Czasem uciekam od takich tematów, ale czasem tak po prostu wychodzi.
Refren “I’m still breathing on my own” (wciąż sam oddycham) odnosi się do faktu, że na pewnym etapie wszyscy będziemy musieli być sztucznie podtrzymywani przy życiu. Z wiekiem myśli stają się coraz mroczniejsze.

“Still Breathing” pochodzi z albumu Revolution Radio”, który miał premierę w październiku 2016 roku.
W ramach promocji dzieła, kapela 21 stycznia zagra w Tauron Arenie Kraków.
Green Day ma na koncie ponad 75 milionów sprzedanych płyt, w tym “Dookie”(1994) i “American Idiot” (2004), które zakupiło ponad 30 milionów fanów. W kwietniu zeszłego roku Green Day wprowadzony został do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Grupa jest także laureatem pięciu statuetek Grammy.
