Nowy teledysk Blondie

Zespół Blondie opublikował klip do najnowszego singla “Long Time”.

Współtwórcą kawałka jest Dev Hynes, ukrywający się pod pseudonimem Blood Orange. Za reżyserię klipu, który towarzyszy rytmicznej, taneczno-gitarowej piosence opowiada Dikayl Rimmasch, który pracował z Beyoncé przy “Lemonade”.

Teledysk zawiera serię stylowych czarno-białych i kolorowych ujęć Debbie Harry i reszty zespołu.

“Long Time” zapowiada album “Pollinator”, który ukaże się 5 maja. W realizacji materiału rockową grupę wspierali również Dave Sitek z TV On The Radio (współtwórca “Fun”), Charli XCX, Sia i Johnny Marr z The Smiths.

Ponadto w numerze “Doom or Destiny” śpiewają Joan Jett i Laurie Anderson. Producentem jest John Congleton (St Vincent, David Byrne i John Grant). Dzieło powstawało w nowojorskich studiach The Magic Shop, gdzie swój ostatni krążek “Blackstar” nagrywał David Bowie.

Początki Blondie sięgają lat 70. Zespół uważany był za pionierów nowej fali i punku. Z czasem w muzyce formacji zaczęły pojawiać się elementy disco, popu czy reggae. Wśród największych przebojów mają “Call Me”, “Rapture”, “Heart of Glass” i “Maria”. W 2016 grupę wprowadzono do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
