W porannym programie “Elvis Duran and The Morning Show” Miley Cyrus wykonała akustyczną wersję najnowszego singla “Malibu”.
Podczas rozmowy w programie Miley Cyrus wyjaśniła, że tekst “Malibu” niekoniecznie opowiada o związku, ale raczej o umiejętności dbania o samego siebie.
– Tak łatwo odczytać “Malibu” jako piosenkę miłosną. Ale ten utwór opowiada również o samodzielności i jaką niesie ona ze sobą wolność – tłumaczy wokalistka.
Podobno kawałek napisała podczas jazdy Uberem, gdy kręciła odcinki “The Voice”.
“Malibu” zapowiada nowy album Miley, który ma ukazać się w tym roku.
