Angielska indierockowa formacja Everything Everything zapowiedziała premierę czwartego albumu.
Płytę zatytułowano “A Fever Dream”, a jej premierę wyznaczono 18 sierpnia 2017 roku. Materiał produkował James Ford znany ze współpracy z Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode czy Foals.
Pierwszym singlem jest mroczny i taneczny kawałek “Can’t Do”.
– To piosenka o próbie nagięcia świata tak, by do nas pasował – wyjaśnia frontman Jonathan Higgs. – Nikt nie jest normalny. Nikt nie wie, co znaczy być normalnym.
Do nagrania powstał imponujący teledysk z popisami tanecznymi. Wideo znajduje się poniżej.
Zespół Everything Everything powstał w 2007 roku, a debiutował trzy lata później, świetnie przyjętym albumem “Man Alive”. Dzięki singlowemu “MY KZ, UR BF” Brytyjczycy zdobyli rozgłos i sympatię publiczności, a po premierze płyty – także przychylność mediów. W 2013 roku premierę miał drugi krążek zespołu, “Arc”. Pochodzą z niego single “Cough Cough” czy “Kemosabe”.
Trzeci longplay bandu, “Get To Heaven”, ukazał się w 2015 roku. Brytyjski “Clash” nazwał wtedy Everything Everything najlepszym popowym zespołem Wielkiej Brytanii, w “Q” można było przeczytać, że album jest “spektakularny”.
