Liam Gallagher ujawnił szczegóły solowego albumu “As You Were”.

Były frontman Oasis, Liam Gallagher kolejno ujawniał poszczególne tytuły piosenek za pośrednictwem Twittera – z drobną przerwą na ładowanie telefonu.

Longplay ukaże się 6 października 2017 roku.

Producentem czterech utworów jest Greg Kurstin, który współpracował z Adele, a także wspierał Foo Fighters przy ich nadchodzącym krążku, “Concrete And Gold”.

Resztą materiału zajął się Dan Grech-Marguerat, który wcześniej produkował Radiohead, Mumford and Sons czy Circa Waves.

– Nie chciałem się wymyślać na nowo ani tworzyć jakiejś kosmicznej, jazzowej odysei – wyjaśniał niedawno Anglik. – To coś w klimacie “Cold Turkey” Lennona, Stonesów. Klasyki, ale po mojemu.

Po rozpadzie Oasis w 2009 roku Liam Gallagher powołał do życia grupę Beady Eye, z którą wydał dwie płyty “Different Gear, Still Speeding” (2011) i “BE” (2013). Zespół zakończył działalność w 2014 roku.
