Sia ma ambitne plany na nadchodzące miesiące. Nie tylko szykuje świąteczny album, ale i swój pierwszy film.
Sia zamierza stanąć za kamerą pierwszego pełnowymiarowego dzieła. Dotąd była współreżyserką teledysków “Elastic Heart”, “Cheap Thrills” “Alive” i “The Greatest”. Na razie szczegóły filmowego projektu nie są znane.
– Wszystko, co tworzy, łącznie z przełomowymi klipami ma swe źródło w wyobraźni – mówią Craig Kallman i Julie Greenwald, szefowie z wytwórni Atlantic, z którą artystka właśnie podpisała nową umowę.
Świąteczna Sia
Właśnie latem powstają świąteczne albumy, które ukazują się później pod koniec roku. Jeden z nich nagrywa Sia.
Zestaw wypełnią piosenki, które wokalistka pisze z Gregiem Kurstinem, producentem znanym ze współpracy z Adele, Kelly Clarkson czy właśnie Sią.
Album, który nie ma jeszcze tytułu ani daty premiery, jest owocem nowej umowy, jaką gwiazda zawarła z Atlantic Records.

Sia Furler muzyczną karierę rozpoczynała od wokalnych, gościnnych występów głównie w utworach Zero 7.
Pierwszy własny longplay, “OnlySee”, wydała w 1997 roku. Jednocześnie prowadziła karierę solową i zdobywała uznanie jako autorka piosenek dla innych wykonawców. Z jej talentu korzystali Beyoncé, Kylie Minogue, Flo Rida czy Rihanna, dla której przygotowała przebój “Diamonds”.
Współtworzyła też utwory “Titanium” David Guetta i “Wild Ones” Flo Ridy, w których zresztą również zaśpiewała. Ważnym momentem w karierze pochodzącej z Adelaide artystki było wydanie płyty “1000 Forms of Fear” (2014), z której pochodził hit “Chandelier”. Jej najnowsze wydawnictwo to “This Is Acting” ze stycznia 2016 roku.
Sia nagrała piosenki do filmów “Igrzyska śmierci: W pierścieniu ognia”, “Lion. Droga do domu” czy “Polująca z orłami”.
