Za reżyserię nowego teledysku Gorillaz odpowiada Raoul Skinbeck. W kolorowym, nasyconym intensywnymi barwami wideo rozgrywającym się w klubie tanecznym gościnnie pojawia się Peven Everett, a także Vince Staples i Jehnny Beth z Savages.
Nagranie “Strobelite” promuje album “Humanz”, który ukazał się w kwietniu 2017 roku.
Wśród gości na krążku znaleźli się De La Soul, Mavis Staples, Benjamin Clementine, Noel Gallagher, Jehnny Beth z Savages czy Rag’n’bone Man.
Pomysł na wirtualny zespół Gorillaz narodził się w głowie Damona Albarna i Jamiego Hewletta.
