Grupa The Knife zaprezentowała w sieci krótkie i tajemnicze zapowiedzi, sugerujące, że może duet chce wznowić działalność.
Latem 2014 roku szwedzki zespół The Knife poinformował, że rozstaje się po zakończeniu trasy.
Finał tournée odbył się w Rejkiawiku podczas Iceland Airwaves Festival. Teraz, po trzech latach, na kontach formacji w social mediach pojawiły się miniklipy. Można je obejrzeć np. na Facebooku.
Przypomnijmy, że elektroniczna grupa The Knife powstała w 1999 roku. W jej skład wchodzą Karin Dreijer Andersson i Olof Dreijer.
Grupa stworzyła utwór “Heartbeats”, który za sprawą reklamy telewizorów Sony spopularyzował José González. Na dorobek The Knife składają się cztery studyjne albumy “The Knife” (2001), “Deep Cuts” (2003), “Silent Shout” (2006) i “Shaking the Habitual” (2013).
