Zbliżającą się jubileuszową ceremonię Grammy Awards po raz kolejny zdominowali artyści Universal Music. Największym faworytem jest Jay-Z, któremu najnowszy album „4:44” zapewnił aż 8 nominacji! Na drugim miejscu znalazł się Kendrick Lamar, którego nazwisko pojawiło się w 7 kategoriach. Zaraz obok plasuje się Childish Gambino z pięcioma nominacjami. Wśród nominowanych nie mogło zabraknąć Luisa Fonsi i jego latynoskiego przeboju „Despacito”, który należy do największych przebojów minionych wakacji. Wśród nominowanych wokalistek Universal Music na szczególną uwagę zasługują nominowane w kategorii „Best New Artist” Julia Michaels i Alessia Cara. Pozostałe artystki z nominacjami to m.in.
