Kesha podzieliła się jeszcze jedną piosenką z nadchodzącej płyty “Rainbow”.
Po “Praying”, “Woman” i “Learn To Let Go”, Kesha zaprezentowała numer “Hymn”. Współtwórcami kawałka są matka wokalistki – Pebe Sebert i Cara Salimando, a także producenci Ricky Reed i Jonny Price.
Jak wyjaśnia Kesha, numer dedykowany jest tym, którzy czują się wyrzutkami. – Dłuższy tytuł brzmiał “Hymn for the Hymnless” (hymn dla tych bez hymnu) – opowiada.
– Mówię o tych, którzy czują, że nigdzie nie pasują. O ludziach, którzy czują, że nie mają swojego hymnu – dodała Kesha.
Do współpracy nad materiałem popowej artystce udało się pozyskać muzyków rockowej formacji Eagles of Death Metal, a także gwiazdę country, Dolly Parton, która pomogła przy coverze jej własnej piosenki “Old Flames Can’t Hold a Candle to You”.
