24-letnia Miley Cyrus miała odebrać osobiście najważniejsze wyróżnienie plebiscytu – Ultimate Choice Award. Po kilku minutach od rozpoczęcia show prowadząca Victoria Justice powiedziała, że gwiazda ostatecznie nie dotrze. Swoją nieobecność piosenkarka wytłumaczyła fanom na swoim Instagramie.
– Najdrożsi fani. Dziękuję z głębi serca za tę nagrodę. Jest mi przykro, że nie mogłam dotrzeć. Robiłam co w mojej mocy – napisała Miley w poście.
We wcześniejszych latach wyróżnienie Ultimate Choice Award otrzymali Selena Gomez, Ashton Kutcher i Taylor Swift.
Miley przymierza się obecnie do premiery nowej płyty. Następca “Bangerz” oraz “Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz” ukaże się 29 września. Nie wiadomo nawet, czy w zestawie znajdą się zaprezentowane niedawno single „Malibu” i „Inspired”. Drugiego z utworów można posłuchać na dole.
