Wokalista rockowej kapeli Bon Jovi przyznał, że jest jak najbardziej chętny, by wystąpić z Richiem Samborą i Alekiem Johnem Suchem.
– Wyobrażałem to sobie przez 20 lat – nie ukrywa Jon. – Wiedziałem, że jeśli ten dzień nastąpi, ściągnę Aleca Sucha. Nie wiem co prawda, gdzie jest, będę chyba musiał uruchomić swój sygnał Batmana, żeby go znaleźć. To samo dotyczy Richiego. Każdy kto mi pomagał, kto sprawił, że dotarliśmy do tego miejsca, zasługuje, by świętować tę chwilę. Jak najbardziej jest zaproszony, by zagrać z obecnym składem.
– Oni są ważną częścią Bon Jovi – dodał perkusista Tico Torres.
Ceremonia wprowadzenia odbędzie się 14 kwietnia 2018 roku w Cleveland, w stanie Ohio.
Do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame trafiają wyłącznie wykonawcy, których fonograficzny debiut liczy 25 lat. W tym roku do panteonu gwiazd trafili Pearl Jam i Tupac, a także Journey, Electric Light Orchestra, Yes i Joan Baez.
